After two and half years of searching for long term relief of my chronic
lower back pain, I am pleased to announce that I am pain free due to
the treatment I received at the hands of Dr. Rosen and staff at
Central Coast Pain Institute. I have long suffered from lower back
pain that that has increased over the past few years and threatened
my career as a Cobra pilot in the US Marines. I had unsuccessfully
attempted to treat my symptoms through numerous chiropractic
treatments, physical therapy and a regimented exercise program only
to have my condition worsen. Dr. Rosen diagnosed my symptoms and
provided treatment in the form of radiofrequency, prolotherapy, and

After 3 short months
of Prolotherapy for the Strengthening of Ligaments and Lumbar Epidurals I am ready to begin my return to my exercise and athletic
pastime activities.
My injuries were the
result of being rear ended two times within a six week period. My exercise and athletic activities prior to the accident was,
work, swimming twenty laps or a quarter mile, weight room for about an hour and a couple sets of tennis, at least two of the
three daily.
My injuries in simple
terms are whiplash (slightly inverted neck curve according to the x-ray) and compressed soft tissue in the lumber penetrating
the spinal column (according to the MRI). Total medical care time referred to herein is six months.
I was referred to Dr.
Rosen by my primary physician after I moved up and was maintained and supported by medical, chiropractic, massage and physical
therapist. The epidural injections were painless as were prolotherapy injection procedures.
I experienced relief and results within two to forty eight hours following each procedure.
I always felt Dr. Rosen
listened and understood my pain and got results with each procedure preformed. My pain and problems were reduced significantly
from having a very difficult standing, sitting, driving and walking, to restarting my exercise routine and athletic pastime
activities. I will continue to see Dr. Rosen for any and all maintenance for my injuries.

you for all your help you are a wonderful doctor.
Note: The patient was treated with local anesthesia into the supporting ligaments of the lower
back on 2 separate occasions. She returned the prescription unfilled as she no longer wanted to take narcotics after these
2 treatments
I just feel like telling the world about my wonderful pain management
doctor, Dr. Rosen. If not for him I would be unable to walk or sit. I am always greeted with a smile. I have a broken back
and without my savior Dr. Rosen I would have quit a long time ago. I recommend him to everyone. I mean who is in pain. I

Well, its been 8 weeks since you started the prolotherapy with me and I feel great and pain free!
I'm sure if it had been available to me in April 2002, I could have avoided shoulder surgery I had
in Southern CA. I have more range of motion than I did after the surgery and 10 weeks of P.T.
When I re-injured it again in May, 2003, I was so sure I would need surgery again.

Dear Dr. Rosen
As I've related, I have had "sick" headaches since I was a teenager.
I'm now 56 and it's time to get rid of them. I was seen at the Mayo Clinic for these headaches when I was a teen, told they
were from tension and sent home with no treatment and no relief. The injections you've done over the past three months have
alleviated at least 70-80% of the pain in my head and neck.
I badly sprained my ankle and knee in August of 2002. For over
a year I was limping and in pain on the right side. Your prolo and trigger point and local injections have reduced that pain
by 80-90%!
When I was in my late 20's and early 30's I developed arthritis.
It was diagnosed as rheumatoid, anklyosing spondylitis, degenerative and fibromyalgia over the past 30 years. I've been treated
with aspirin, NSAIDs, methotrexate, TENS treatments and so on and steroid injections with little relief. When I developed
aspirin/salicylate sensitivity I gave up all drugs but Tylenol and gritted my teeth to endure the pain. The trigger point
injections at the sites where the tendonitis was the worst, have also put me at 70-80% pain relief. The pain which reoccurs
in my small finger joints has also alleviated since my body as whole has been gradually freeing itself from the headlock of
constant pain I've lived with for over 25 years!.
There are no adequate worked to thank you for this relief. Each
time the treatments work, I want to cry tears of total gratitude. I'm Capricorn and a stoic, so I don't, but the joy is there!

This letter is my effort to express my complete satisfaction with the recent implantation of a Genesis
Neurostimulation System. You assured me that the implantation of the neurostimulator would, in all likelihood, provide me
with relief from the spinal, hip and leg pain which I have been plagued.
On December 8th a temporary implantation was performed and I experienced immediate relief.
I used the temporary system for one week with great success and a permanent implantation was performed December 15th.
Since that time I have experienced great relief from the pain that I had endured for a number of
years. I no longer need the various prescription pain medications to which I had been exposed and which proved to be ineffective
and also caused me to suffer extreme stomach pains.
Dr. Rosen, thank you and Dr. Li for providing me with relief that I had lost all hope of ever achieving.
The neurostimulator, with its multiplicity of programs, which can be accessed by the patient as pain levels warrant, has proven
to be extremely successful for me.
